Ethical Trading Policy Statement
Rutland Biodynamics (RBD) will always conduct business in an ethical, legal and socially responsible manner. This commitment extends from our own Company to suppliers and other associated stakeholders and external resources with whom we conduct business. It is our intention always to only purchase goods and services to the highest standards of ethical and environmental trade practices, including the provision of safe working conditions and the protection of employees across our supply chains.
Our Policy is committed to ensuring:
We act in an ethical manner and comply with statutory and legal requirements promoting good labour and ethical standards in the supply chain of goods and services.
We will fully uphold all laws relating to anti-bribery and corruption in the territories within which we operate. We are bound by the Laws of the United Kingdom, namely the Bribery Act of 2010, in relation to our conduct both at home and overseas.
We are committed to ensuring that there is zero slavery, servitude, forced labour or human trafficking within our business or in any part of our supply chain.
We treat people equally and fairly regardless of their religion, beliefs, age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability or sexual orientation.
Our Policy reflects the fact that we will always act ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships. In addition, we ensure that our suppliers and other related stakeholders also comply.
This Policy forms part of the RBD Quality Management System (QMS) and Company training programme. As such, it is communicated to all relevant internal and external parties and reviewed at regular intervals.
The Company Directors are responsible for maintaining and developing the policy ensuring it reflects up to date legislation, regulation and practice.
